Projects

Once a month, GLIFY youth spend hours farming at the garden of Fertile GroundWorks in Livermore to grow organic, nutritious, and sustainable food. We learn basic farming skills and knowledge of taking care of various plants. The produce we grow goes to local community kitchens and food pantries to help feed those in need.

Since 2016, GLIFY volunteers have been regularly working with Living Arroyos to preserve the native plant populations in Livermore-Amador areas and watersheds.
