Nadia Fan
Nadia Fan is a junior at California High School. She is currently the Co-President for GLIFY. In the prior years, she served as the VP of Internal Operations and Chief Editor. Nadia is currently leading the White Pony Express, Crayon Sorting, and Psych Circle projects. She also co-leads the Alameda County Fair, FCSN Storytelling, and Eco-Alliance Fundraising. When she has free time, Nadia enjoys playing volleyball, listening to music, and hanging out with her friends.

Joshua Wu
Joshua Wu is a Junior at Dublin High School who has previously served as the VP of Membership and Membership Development Manager. Joshua joined the GLIFY when he was a 6th grader. Joshua currently co-leads several projects including the San Lorenzo Family Help Center, Crayon Sorting, Public Speaking and Leadership Class, the FunDrive Fundraiser, MedShare, and others. Joshua has participated in many other GILFY events such as the Alameda County Fair, Kids Against Hunger, and many more. In his free time, he likes to go camping, hiking, and cook.

Eric Xiao
Eric Xiao is a senior at Dublin High School. He has been a GLIFY member since he was in middle school. Prior to being elected Senior Advisor of GLIFY, he served as the Secretary, VP of External Operations, as well as one of the Co-presidents. He has led in multiple GLIFY events such as the DIY Computer Club, Fertile Groundworks, the Public Speaking and Leadership Workshop, Operation Christmas Child, the Alameda County Fair, and the Coding Club. In his free time, Eric likes to read books or spend time with his pets.

Victoria Xu
Victoria Xu is a senior at Dougherty Valley High School. She joined GLIFY in 2021 and has previously served as Volunteer Coordinator, VP of Internal Operations, and Co-President. She initiated the Contra Costa Food Bank project, Eco Alliance Fundraiser, and the FUNDrive Fundraiser and has led GLIFY events such as Family Giving Tree, Alameda County Fair, and Math Workshop. In her free time, Victoria enjoys running on trails, reading, and listening to Studio Ghibli music.

Jason Hu
Jason Hu is a junior at Amador Valley High School. He led numerous projects, such as the Savers Fundrive, Christmas Shoebox Project, and Alameda County Fair. He enjoys participating in various other GLIFY events as well. In his free time, he likes to play basketball, hang out with friends, and listen to music.

Francesca Lin
Francesca Lin is a sophomore at Amador Valley High School and has participated in a variety of different projects since 2020. She has previously served as the Treasurer. She is currently the project co-leader for Kids Against Hunger, Family Giving Tree, and FCSN Storytelling. Francesca is also the leader for the Chocolate Truffle Fundraiser held a few times each year to support GLIFY projects. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, spending time with friends, and listening to music.

Jeremy Li
Jeremy Li is a Junior at Amador Valley High School. He has been a member of GLIFY since 2020 and previously served as the treasurer and VP of Finance. He co-leads the KAH year-round event, the African Library project, and Adopt a Senior. Jeremy enjoys volunteering in all kinds of GLIFY events and participating in group activities. In his free time, Jeremy likes to play tennis, hang out with friends, and listen to music.

Brandon Gao
Brandon Gao, a 10th grader at Dougherty Valley High School in San Ramon, CA, has been an active member of GLIFY since 2021. During the 2023-2024 year, he served as the multimedia manager and took on leadership roles in several GLIFY projects, including the Reutlinger Senior Center Performance, the African Library Project, the 1:1 Tutoring Program, Christmas Shoebox, and Fundrive. Additionally, Brandon has volunteered for various initiatives such as Crayon Sorting, the White Pony Express Star Program, the Coding Club STEM Box Project, and the Eco Project.
Brandon has played the violin for many years and is the first violinist in the Golden State Youth Symphony Senior group. He also co-organized and performed at the GLIFY 2024 Gala, following his solo performance at the 2022 Gala. In his spare time, Brandon enjoys playing video games, basketball, and spending time with friends.

Brian Zhang
Brian Zhang is a junior at Granada High School. He has been a member at GLIFY for over four years, and previously served as the Member Development Manager, where he helped organize and host member orientation and bonding events. He leads several projects, including Living Arroyos, Family Giving Tree, FCSN Math and Storytelling, and others. Outside of GLIFY, he enjoys spending time with friends, cooking, playing tennis, and playing video games.

Avery Liu
Avery Liu is a sophomore at California High School. She has been a member of GLIFY since she was in 8th grade. Avery is the leader of the Summer Creative Writing camp and is a co-lead for Math Games and Psych Circle. Avery has also participated in Kids Against Hunger, Living Arroyos, Adopt a Senior and several other projects. She is an athlete that plays volleyball, loves kids, and hopes to create more projects that focus on helping them as well as creating fun spaces for them to learn. In her free time, she likes to bake, spend time with her friends, and karaoke to songs.

Ryan Fu
Ryan Fu is a junior at Amador Valley High School. He joined GLIFY in 2022 and participated in many GLIFY events, including Living Arroyos, African Library, and the FUNDrive Fundraiser. He also co-led the Debate Camp, as well as the Coding Club. In his free time, he enjoys participating in coding and math competitions, as well as playing tennis.

Sophia Henningsen
Sophia Henningsen is a junior at Dublin High School. She has been a member of GLIFY for over four years. Sophia has co-led many projects, such as Math Workshop, Adopt a Senior, COVID Test Kit Assembly and the Stop, Think, Then Act Safety Training class, Public speaking, and college forum. She also led the GLIFY newsletter team last year. Sophia has also mentored project leads and helped start the Math Game Festival and Hively projects. Furthermore, she is the lead student coach for Fallon Middle School’s MATHCOUNTS team. In her free time, she likes to read, draw, and play the piano.

Hayden Lee
Hayden Lee is a 16-year-old junior at Dougherty Valley High School with a passion for community service and a zest for life. Now in his fourth year with GLIFY, Hayden continues his role as Vice President of External Operations, a position he has held since last year. He previously served as the Multi-Media Manager, where he managed the organization’s Instagram account.
Hayden is also a dedicated project leader at Open Heart Kitchen and a project co-leader at the Contra Costa Food Bank, reflecting his commitment to addressing food insecurity. His active participation in initiatives like English tutoring, crayon sorting, and several fundraising projects exemplifies his dedication to community engagement.

Jayden Zhou is a junior at Dougherty Valley High School who has been a member of GLIFY since 2021 and previously served as Volunteer Coordinator. In her free time, she enjoys reading novels, hanging out with friends, and drawing.

Ashlinn MacKenzie is a freshman at Monte Vista High School. She has been a member of GLIFY for over three years and is a co-lead of White Pony Express. Ashlinn has volunteered in GLIFY events such as Contra Costa Food Bank, Crayon Initiative, and English Tutoring. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, painting/drawing, and talking to friends.

Yingkai Shao is a sophomore at Dougherty Valley High School and has been a member of GLIFY for over four years. He currently co-leads the GLIFY Math Workshop, Reutlinger Senior Center, and Math Games Festival, and has been participating in many GLiFY volunteering activities, like Contra Costa Food Bank Distribution, African Library Fundraising, Kids Against Hunger, Family Giving Tree, Fertile Groundworks, etc. In his free time, he likes reading, biking, solving Rubik’s cubes, playing table tennis with his brother, and listening to music.

Sophia Shi is a freshman at Monte Vista High School and has been a member of GLIFY for three years. She co-leads the Contra Costa County Food Bank and Family Giving Tree projects. She has also participated in many other GLIFY projects, such as the Crayon Initiative, White Pony Express, Medshare, and Alameda County Fair. In her free time, Sophia enjoys drawing, reading, and spending time with her pets.

Evan Li is a freshman attending Dublin High School and has been with GLIFY since 2022. He has co-led and led many projects such as the Thanksgiving Basketball Camp, Summer Basketball Camp, Hively Initiative, and Back to School Basketball Camp. In his free time, he likes to play basketball and football.
