Co-President

Eric Xiao

Eric Xiao is a junior at Dublin High School. He has been a GLIFY member since he was in middle school. Prior to being elected Co-President of GLIFY, he served as the Secretary as well as the VP of External Operations. He has led in multiple GLIFY events such as the DIY Computer Club, Fertile Groundworks, the Public Speaking and Leadership Workshop, Operation Christmas Child, and the Coding Club. In his free time, Eric likes to read books or do programming.

Victoria Xu

Victoria Xu is a junior at Dougherty Valley High School. She joined GLIFY in 2021 and previously served as VP of Internal Operations and Volunteer Coordinator. She initiated the Contra Costa Food Bank project and the FUNDrive Fundraiser and currently co-leads the Family Giving Tree project, Alameda County Fair, and Math Workshop. In her free time, Victoria enjoys running, listening to new music, and reading.​

Senior Advisor

Kacie Hu

Kacie Hu is a senior at Amador Valley High School. She has been a member of GLIFY since 2018 and previously served as Member Development Manager, VP of Membership, and Co-President. She leads the Public Speaking & Leadership Program, and initiated the GLIFY Debate Camp, Summer Basketball Camp, and the Hand in Hand We Rise Scholarship. Kacie enjoys volunteering in all kinds of GLIFY events and hosting events such as the College Forum and GLIFY Gala. In her free time, she enjoys watching sunsets with her friends, playing basketball, and discovering new music.

Madeline Zhang

Maddy Zhang is a senior at Amador Valley High School and has been a member of GLIFY for four years. She has previously served as Secretary, VP of Public Relations, and Co-President. She has also led several GLIFY events, such as Adopt a Senior and the COVID Test Kit Assembly Project. In her free time, she enjoys going out with friends and listening to podcasts. 

Executive VP

Lawrence Zhang

Lawrence Zhang is a Junior at Las Lomas High School and has been a member of the GLIFY organization for three years. He has previously held the positions of Vice President of Fundraising and Donation, and Volunteer Coordinator, as well as currently being a co-leader for the White Pony Express, Alameda County Fair, and the College Forum. Lawrence has volunteered at over 20 GLIFY events, and has earned over 300 hours of volunteer service. He runs Track and Field as part of his school team, and enjoys hiking with his Boy Scout Troop.

VP of Finance

Jeremy Li

Jeremy Li is a sophomore at Amador Valley High School. He has been a member of GLIFY since 2020 and previously served as the treasurer. He currently leads the KAH year-round event and the African Library project. Jeremy enjoys volunteering in all kinds of GLIFY events and participating in group activities. In his free time, Jeremy likes to play tennis, hang out with friends, and listen to music.

Sophia Henningsen

Sophia Henningsen is a sophomore at Dublin High School. She has been a member of GLIFY for two and a half years. Sophia co-led COVID Test Kit Assembly and the Stop, Think, Then Act Safety Training Class. She currently co-leads Math Workshop and Adopt a Senior. Sophia has also participated in Fertile Groundworks, Reutlinger Senior Center Concert, and several other projects. Furthermore, she is the lead student coach for Fallon Middle School’s MATHCOUNTS team. In her free time, she likes to read, draw, and play the piano.

Joshua Wu

Joshua Wu is a sophomore at Dublin High School who has previously served as the Membership Development Manager. Joshua currently co-leads several projects including San Lorenzo Family Help Center, Crayon Sorting, Public Speaking and Leadership Class, and The FunDrive Fundraiser, among others. Joshua has participated in several other GILFY events such as The Alameda County Fair, Kids Against Hunger, and many more. In his free time, he likes to go camping, hiking, cook, and solve Rubik’s Cubes

VP of Marketing

Audrey Xi

Audrey Xi is a junior at Dublin High School who previously served as VP of Public Relations and Volunteer Coordinator. She founded and led the Writing Camp project and currently co-leads Living Arroyos. She also oversees GLIFY’s publicity efforts, supervises social media accounts, and designs GLIFY’s Monthly Newsletter and event flyers. She has also participated in many GLIFY events, including Chocolate Making Fundraiser for Kids Against Hunger, Fertile Groundworks, Mental Health Jewelry Making Workshop, and the Crayon Initiative. In her free time, she loves dancing, writing poetry, spending time with her family and friends, and listening to music.

VP of Operations, External Affairs

Hayden Lee

Hayden Lee is a 15-year-old sophomore at Dougherty Valley High School.  With a passion for community service and leadership, Hayden is currently in his third year with GLIFY, where he previously served as the multimedia manager, overseeing the organization’s Instagram account.  Hayden also co-leads a Contra Costa Food Bank project, demonstrating his commitment to addressing local hunger issues.  Outside of these activities, he engages in English tutoring, crayon sorting, and fundraising efforts.  As a life scout, Hayden exemplifies dedication and leadership.  Beyond their community work, Hayden enjoys swimming, video gaming, rock climbing, and camping. 

VP of Operations, Internal Affairs

Nadia Fan​

Nadia Fan is a sophomore at California High School. She is currently the VP of Operations, Internal Affairs for GLIFY. Last year, she was the Chief Editor. Nadia has participated in numerous GLIFY events including Crayon Sorting, Kids Against Hunger, Adopt a Senior, and many more. Nadia is currently leading the GLIFY White Pony Express project. When she has free time, Nadia enjoys playing volleyball, listening to music, and going on bike rides with her friends and family.

Jason Hu

Jason Hu is a sophomore at Amador Valley High School. He led the 3D Design and 3D Printing Class, Savers Fund Drive, and Summer Basketball Camp. He has participated in many GLIFY events as well, such as Living Arroyo Creek Cleaning, Medshare, and Crayon Sorting events. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, hanging out with friends, and listening to music.

Brian Zhang

Brian Zhang is a sophomore at Granada High School. Brian has been in GLIFY for 3 years and has attended numerous different GLIFY events. He also led numerous projects, including Living Arroyos, Math Workshop, and the FCSN Math Program.  Brian likes learning new things, playing tennis, and spending time with friends and family.

Daniel Wu

Daniel Wu is a freshman at Dougherty Valley High School and has been a member of GLIFY for over two years. He currently leads the GLIFY Debate Camp, and has been a frequent volunteer in events such as Reutlinger Senior Center, Kids Against Hunger, Fertile Groundworks, and Living Arroyos. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, reading, and cooking for friends and family.

Francesca Lin

Francesca Lin is a freshman at Amador Valley High School and joined GLIFY in 2020. She currently is a project co-leader for the Kids Against Hunger and Family Giving Tree events. Additionally, she leads the Chocolate Truffle Fundraiser that is hosted a few times a year. Some activities she has participated in include Crayon Sorting, Christmas Shoebox Packing, Alameda County Fair, and many more. In her free time, Francesca enjoys swimming, crocheting, hanging out with friends, or painting

Multi-Media Manager

Brandon Gao

Brandon Gao lives in San Ramon, CA, and is currently a 9th grader at Dougherty Valley High School. Brandon has been a member of GLIFY since 2021. In addition to leading and participating in several GLIFY events, such as Reutlinger Senior Center Performance, Christmas Shoebox, Fundrive, Brandon also actively participated in multiple other volunteering events, such as African Library Project, Crayon Sorting etc. Brandon plays the violin for many years and is the first violin in Golden State Youth Symphony Senior group. He performed solo at GLIFY 2022 Gala. In his free time, Brandon enjoys playing video games, basketball and hanging out with friends.

Ryan Fu

Ryan Fu is a sophomore at Amador Valley High School. He joined GLIFY in 2022 and participated in many GLIFY events, including Living Arroyos, African Library, and the FUNDrive Fundraiser. He also co-led the Debate Camp. In his free time, he enjoys participating in coding and math competitions, as well as playing tennis.

Angela Xu

Angela Xu is a sophomore at Dublin High School. She co-leads Fertile Groundworks and previously co-led Living Arroyos and Math Kangaroo Workshop. She has also participated in many GLIFY events like the Alameda County Fair, Kids Against Hunger, Crayon Sorting, and many more. In her free time, she likes playing video games, listening to music, and hanging out with her friends.

Jayden Zhou

Jayden Zhou is a sophomore at Dougherty Valley High School who has been a member of GLIFY since 2021. He is currently serving as Volunteer Coordinator. He is co-leading the Contra Costa Food Bank project and has participated in many GLIFY projects including MedShare, Living Arroyos, Kids Against Hunger. In his free time, he likes to play the piano, listen to music, and play video games.
